Find your people and have unlimited supply of motivation!


There’s nothing like a good gym sesh.  To push yourself one more time, thirty more seconds, or one last set makes the sweat feel like the ultimate accomplishment.  But sometimes, despite our motivation, the gym can get a little monotonous, and even the power we felt leaving yesterday isn’t enough to make us want to go back again today. 

And that’s totally okay.   Our workouts don’t have to be confined to the walls of a gym.  In fact, they can be anywhere we choose!  So take a break from the treadmill, the stairmaster, and the squat rack, and try exercising somewhere new and unexpected.  For inspiration, we’ve listed our fave spots to exercise below. Enjoy!

  1. Neighborhood Park

It’s the perfect place for getting outside and taking a break from the gym.  With walking paths and green grass galore, we can spread out and feel the sun on our faces.  Try going for a walk/run or following a minimal equipment routine on the lawn for a chance to escape the gym while staying close to home.  

  1. The Trail

Whenever we get the opportunity to get on a trail, we take it!  There’s nothing like exploring the outdoors on a beautiful hike or run through the wilderness.  And the fact you are able to get fit while doing so, makes it even better.  With the wonderful weather Spring provides, now is the perfect time to ditch the indoor track for a glorious outdoor path!

  1. Group Fitness Studio

Solo gym workouts are great.  But every once in a while, it helps to have others around you for encouragement and motivation.  Luckily, group fitness studios are popping up more and more.  Whether you join a yoga class, spin class, pilates class, or crossfit class, surrounding yourself with others can make working out so much more enjoyable. 

  1. School Track and Field 

Some of us graduated the 12th grade hoping to never return to high school.  But even so, the stadium at your nearest school may be the perfect place to take your gym routine.  The track is your new treadmill, the stands are your new stairs, and the football field is open to sprints, lunges, crunches, pushups, and more.  

  1. The Great Outdoors

Whether it’s the beach, the lake, or the mountains, it’s wonderful to take our exercise routines outdoors.  We can run in the sand, swim in the water, or hike through the trees.  We can lie a mat on the earth and hop into a killer routine with a gorgeous view.  We love that the Earth has so many wonderful places to be and that we can exercise in all of them if we choose!

You Ladies know we love the gym, but we love taking our workouts to different spots as well.  And with the weather warming up and summer right around the corner, we certainly like bringing our exercise outdoors.  We hope you all take your fitness routines somewhere new this Spring and would love to hear about your fave places to workout too!
