I recently completed a "Your Story Isn't Over" 5k virtual walk in memory of my nephew Chaz. It was so nice to celebrate his life outside on the beautiful Atlanta Beltline. People asked about my race bid which gave me the opportunity to talk about Suicide Awareness and Chaz! The beautiful butterfly finisher medal will forever serve as a reminder of Chaz and that his story will keep going.

I had such a fun time with the Let’s Get Ready to Bumble Virtual 5K! The bee theme was absolutely adorable. I completed my 5K on a beautiful evening with my coach/crew chief by my side and my little co-pilot, Gracie, there to bee part of it too! And to top it all off, the sky put on the most incredible sunset. I’m pretty sure that was Dad’s way of saying hello from heaven. Such a fun race, a beautiful memory, and definitely one I’ll be buzzing about for a while!🐝🐾🤟😀
